Media Advisory: National Hispanic/Latinx Organizations Come Together to Unveil National Health Policy Agenda in Washington, D.C. March 2 & 3

–Unveiling Plans to Impact U.S. Presidential elections in 2020 and Beyond–

WHY: On the eve of Super Tuesday, Hispanic/Latinx organizations, stakeholders and partners join efforts on a call for unity to develop a national health policy agenda and community actions to address the health challenges. National, regional and local Hispanic/Latinx community-based organizations are calling on the community to unite around the theme “Our Health, Our Future.” The agenda setting will focus on health policy and encourage broad community engagement to address national health issues affecting our communities.
The national issues include HIV, viral hepatitis, substance use, social stigma, Puerto Rico and other health disparities, one of the overarching goals is to create visibility during the U.S. Presidential election process and in our nation.
