On March 9th and 10th in Albany the Commission facilitated its Fifteen Annual Reunion Latina. The training focused on the elimination of health disparities and sharing strategies among services providers on how best to serve Hispanic/Latinos.

In the same week, a delegation representing various Latino focused organization conducted successful legislative visits with key legislators in the New York State Assembly and Senate. Additionally, the delegation met with members of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s administration and leadership of the New York State Department of Health.
